1. Introduction

GK SMTP Pro (“the Plugin”, “we”, “our”, “us”) is developed by Govinda Khatiwada (Govindak.com.np) to help WordPress sites securely send emails through verified SMTP providers such as Google, Brevo, Outlook, and custom SMTP servers.

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through compliance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

a. Configuration Data:
When you connect an SMTP provider, the plugin stores the following configuration on your WordPress database:

SMTP host, port, encryption type

OAuth credentials (if applicable)

Sender name and email

b. Authentication Tokens:
If OAuth (e.g., Google, Microsoft, Brevo) is used, tokens are encrypted before being stored locally on your website’s server.

c. Diagnostic Data (Optional):
If you enable “Debug Mode” or error logging, the plugin may collect:

Email delivery status (success/failure)

Timestamp and recipient address

Error codes from SMTP servers

This data remains in your WordPress installation and is not transmitted externally unless you explicitly enable remote logging or contact support.

3. How We Use the Information

We use stored data only to:

Send transactional or contact emails through your configured SMTP provider

Diagnose connection issues when you request support

Improve plugin stability and compatibility (aggregated, anonymized statistics only)

We never sell, rent, or share user data with any third party.

4. Data Storage and Security

All sensitive credentials are AES-256 encrypted before storage in the database.

OAuth tokens (for Google, Outlook, etc.) are refreshed securely and never transmitted to third parties.

Our central service connect.govindak.com.np is used only for token initialization and callback; no email content or user data is stored there.

5. Your Rights

You can:

Delete all plugin data from Settings → GK SMTP Pro → Reset/Uninstall

Revoke OAuth access from your email provider’s account dashboard

Request deletion of any support-related data by emailing privacy@govindak.com.np

6. Children’s Privacy

This plugin is not intended for use by individuals under 16 years of age.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be reflected on this page with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the plugin constitutes acceptance of those changes.
